2 cups milk
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil (or about 1 TBSP dried)
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Place all ingredients in a blender; cover and blend until smooth. Transfer to a large saucepan and heat through.
