Peanut butter cookies

Submitted by Donna Smith

1/2 cup peanut butter (I use Jiff), 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar (light brown)

1 egg, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour, 3/4 tsp. baking soda, 1/4 tsp. salt. Mix together dry ingredients, then

add dry ingredients to peanut butter, softened butter, egg and vanilla. mix well, take mixture and roll into about 1 inch balls, roll balls into sugar,

place on light color baking pan, (light color pan seems to make cookies turn out better) take fork and smash down

lightly, then use fork tines to make crisscross design on cookies bake @375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. I try for 10 minutes. Smiley emoticon
